Yes, there was giggling. And yes, there was girlish whispering. And yes, there was even the endless, "No, you ask him!"s and shovings. Isn't it sad how far we'll go when we've found a cute boy??
Really, you think I'm like Tom? Hmm, I guess... *scrunches up her face* no, I can't really see it. Well, I am extremely secretive. I practically live a double life. And other things...yeah, I guess I am sorta like Tom. That's pretty cool! I would say that you remind me of, well, Ginny. Maybe we've just been rping in the Secret Diary too long.
Oooh, look! It's post #4444! ;D

Oh yes, it's very sad indeed. But hey, who cares? Love is blind...or should I say infatuation?
I think the reason you remind me of Tom is because of the way I see him. He’s a tormented little boy in the orphanage who wants nothing more than to get out. Once he receives the acceptance letter to Hogwarts he studies hard to prove himself. After a while he becomes a top student and yet he doesn’t flaunt his intelligence. His hatred for muggles increases and uses his knowledge to seek revenge. Yup. That’s my Tom.
Wow, you see me as Ginny? –is flattered- I love her to no end. Well, not the exact Ginny that JKR portrays, but the Ginny I have read in fanfiction. …And I don’t like Harry what so ever. Hmph!
#4444?! Wait...your just pulling my leg. But maybe we can make it to 4444! ;D

That's not love or infatuation. That's just craziness and obsessing over HP look-alikes.
Well, yeah, in a way, you remind me of Ginny. (Basically everything we talk about now is referring to fanfictions as well as the books...to us, people like Draco are actually good. It's how you can tell true HP fans from the superficial ones. ) Like I said, maybe we've been RPing too long, or maybe you are like Ginny. Who knows? But if you like her, then I'll just say that yes, you do remind me of Ginny.
I don't think I'm all Tom, although that description you wrote pretty much fits me like a glove. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I'm too complicated to fit into a single character. Of course, I'm sure that's true about everyone.

Yes, I do suppose you are right on that one.
Heh, I think you are right on that one as well. I still adore the Draco from the books and also Ginny, but in fanfics, they go so much deeper. They tell you why they behave the way they do unlike the actually books.
Yes I agree with you on this too...-cough- You are complicated...Oi, I'm listening to that song from Garbage right now.... "I'm only happy when it rains. I'm only happy when it's complicated..."

Yep, fanfics, at least the well-written ones, add a lot of depth to the characters. And they can put characters in all sorts of fun situations, like slash!! OK, but anyways...
See! Even other people know I'm complicated. That's probably not a good thing, but oh well. My personality is all over the place. So I guess I'm part Hermione, part Riddle (acc. to you, anyways), part Lupin, part Ron, part Ginny, part Draco...I could go on. How about you?

You know, I haven't really thought about it. I am partly Ginny and maybe even Tom...Honestly, I have no idea. I have a bit of Oliver in there. Perhaps I’m a Slytherin, Gryffindor mix.

Maybe you should be a part-time Gryff member, too.
Really? Oliver?? That's new. I've never really thought of anyone like Oliver. Are you the popular, athletic type?

No, never a Gryffindor. You have my word on that. I couldn't do that to Slytherin. Nope, never, ever...
Well, not so much as the athletic, popular side of him. I think it's the way he's so passionate about something he loves. Like my love for drama.

I was just joking. I know you would never do that. I always joke that I'm going to switch to Gryffindor, even though I obviously have no courage whatsoever.
Oooh, so you're a drama queen!! Some of the most interesting people (and I do mean that in a good way!!) I know love drama. I guess it tends to bring the best out of people...until the start starring in films and become rich and arrogant.

Yeah, I kind of figured that. I just wanted to reassure you, I guess. Oh, but Gryffindor isn’t just about courage. They also make sacrifices for those they love, but that’s beside the point. I’m glad you are here to stay in the shadows of Slytherin. I was never too fond of the light. Sure, it’s a necessity of life, but I don’t want an over dose, thank you very much. Oi, I’m a bit off topic.
Drama queen I am and we are very interesting people. Oh! I want to become a Thespian! I have to be a part of two plays before I can join. Then, you go through an initiation thing with an actually Thespian. We get to wear a toga to school and talk from a script. The Thespian makes you do embarrassing things in front of the public. I’m so excited!
Now aren’t all Slytherins arrogant?

Of course, no house is limited to just one trait. I know that the house selection is far from a single question of character. But it seems to me that anyone in the house can make sacrifices for their loved-ones. Hufflepuffs would do it because their loyal friends. Ravenclaws would do it because it's the logical, instinctive thing to do. Slytherins would do it because they stick together and will go to any ends to do what needs to be done. Talk about off topic...yeah, I'll just wrap this up by saying that the question of the Hogwarts houses is a complicated one, to say the least. There's always something new to be debated.
So your school has a club/organization called the Thespians? How cool. I'm not much of an actor myself, but I do love the fine arts. This thing sorta sounds like a cult to me, though!! I'm sure I would love it if I were actually into drama. See, your school actually does creative, interesting things so that people don't hate school. Not mine.

-looks back on the topic and admires all the green- Feels like we did win the house comp.
-nods- That's very true. You and your brilliant mind. Beautiful. One question I have is whether Slytherins and Gryffindors have ever been friends. The rest of the houses seem to be afraid of Slytherin because of their bad reputation. Was it always like that? I know Salazar and Godric had a bit of a grudge between one another, or so they say, but did that really affect future Slytherins and Gryffindors? Now, did that even make the slightest bit of sense?
Yes we do! -grins- They perform and go to Renaissance fairs...I can't wait. You hate school? There aren't any fun teachers you could talk to or clubs that would be fun to join? Do you like going to football games? I know I do. Our school is very spirited. And when it comes to our rival school, Homestead...

Wow, it's been five months. I have tons of stuff I could put in here. These things aren't about people, just about all the ways I keep Harry Potter involved in my life. I don't think I could remain sane without doing so. Or is this what's making me insane?
First up, Harry Potter in Physics class. I've been working on this for the last couple hours with my lab partner buddy person. Who knew that Harry Potter was all about Physics?During the final Quidditch match at Hogwarts School, Harry Potter was scouting the skies for the Golden Snitch. His broomstick hovered at a height equal to half the total height of Big Ben Tower. Harry was so busy looking for the evasive Snitch that he didn’t even realize that a 6.5 kilogram Bludger was headed straight towards his back. It raced towards him at a speed of 60. miles per hour, and before he knew it, Harry (who weighs 70. kilograms) was plummeting towards the ground. The Gryffindors in the crowd gasped with concern, while the Slytherins in the crowd only laughed. But everyone was wondering the same thing as they watched him fall: at what speed would Harry Potter hit the ground?Okay GO! Figure it out!! I'll give a cookie if you can.
I've also written, just in this new school year, two English papers about Harry Potter (one of them was for a contest which I did poorly on, but moving on ), and last year I wrote a Latin modern news article about book five, which was ridiculous:Exspectatîs fanaticîs paene tres annos, quintus liber congeriei H. Potteri tandem legi poterit. Appellatus Harrius Potterius et Ordo Phoenicis , liber a.d. XI Kal.

A big, fat, honking L.O.L!
I'd most likely be laughted at if I ever wrote something like that for class. And I think my last Lit teacher found Harry Potter to be stupid... I could tell by the look she gave me. When ever I talk about Harry Potter, I get funny looks. Maybe it's because I get too excited about it... I love your love for the world of Harry Potter, Silver. It makes me smile.
Anyway, sadly, I'm not taking physics this year. Therefore I don't think I can solve the problem. No cookie for me? There's the Latin! It looks so... cool, for the lack of a better word.

Aww...thanks. That makes it all worthwhile. I think some people think I'm stupid, too. Not that I care. I think I've come to love HP so much that, like I said somewhere else ( ), I really try to keep it in my life in whatever way I can. So if that means I have to inject it into my school life (which is practically my whole life now), then so be it. It helps that my friends like HP too.
Hey, I wrote the poem (or helped write it), and I'm not even sure I could solve it. Like if I were given that exact question on a test, I bet you anything I would mess up on it. (in other words, I suck at Physics) So in light of that, I'll give you a cookie anyways.
Yep, this time the Latin's actually there, not just some made up reference. The little lines above the letters aren't actually supposed to be bent; I'm not sure why they turned out like that.
