they hold auditions. one was held at the shopping complex down the street from ours and hundreds turned out. also, people bombard them with home made tapes, bios, etc. there is also an FBI agent on this one--should be interesting.

Haha, product placement
Survivor All-Stars was the last one we had here, and that was crap. I mean, everyone was just so nasty and evil and scheming which, on one level, I guess you need in the game, but on another level, is that what you really want to be like in the course of your normal life?

*wants to kill Boston Rob* He was SO annoying!!
Oh, they had Aussie survivor here, but it got axed. It's not as entertaining when it's Australians I think. If they did another series, I was going to audition for it (by "eating" my pet mice ) but they aren't going to because people were complaining that we missed out on Survivor 4 for it.

I almost auditioned for both The Apprentice and Survivior between leaving the military and landing this job. I backed out of my idea when I got employed though...wasn't worth starting that process all over when the odds of winning are so small...especially since I would have had to leave a penniless family behind

Yeah, I reckon they should have that. Like, not Survivor [somewhere warm and tropical] but something like Survivor Siberia or something. I guess the ratings might not be as good then if there aren’t as many bikini-clad women running around, but still, they could go out and hunt seals or penguins or something instead of spearing fish.
I was thinking, if you are an amputee, wouldn’t it really hurt to get sand on your stump? Wouldn’t they have to make particular allowances for people to bring certain things for medical reasons?

I was thinking about that today--if you took birth control pills or zoloft--something you had to take daily, wouldn't they have to allow you to have that? I wonder where you would keep it? and what about, ahem, femine hygiene products (blushes)--

Laughs at KO --Boston Rob is attractive
Im sure they let them have their pills and whatever else, and some of those women will get their period twice while they are out there, they must allow them to pack them and give them to someone, or they must be provided. its all in first aid and such. They wouldnt keep them from them
Lol siberia!
how aboat survivor canehda eh??

*snorts* You're kidding, right, Li?! It's... boston Rob. He's so crafty and dodgy and sleazy! And in any case, he's hooked up with Amber... I hope they had a prenup...
*laughs* guin, I was thinking about that too! They'd have to provide the women with some sort of *coughs* feminine hygiene product or something. I know that they have condoms in the first aid kit (although apparently none have ever been used ) so maybe that's where they are too. But still, even for safety reasons they'd need them (um, blood attracts sharks...)
