You know what I like? T-SHIRTS! They're great if you think about it...the absolute most ingenious souvenir. If you're traveling (which I currently am) wouldn't you rather have something that you could use and wear and looks cool instead of a nick-nack ((sp?)) that just sits on your mantle and collects dust. Ya know? Or maybe you don't...so what do you think?

Yeah, T-shirts are cool. They used to be the only souvenirs I bought when I was like 12 or 13... then I started getting into making noise with my backpack so I stuck a lot of keychains on it, and a lot of pins... My backpack is a work of art made of pins and keychains and a permanent marker. So yeah, as long as whatever you buy does not collect dust, it's gonna be great. You're traveling? Cool, where are you? On a completely different but also random note... Mexico's playing Brazil tonight! For the American Cup. This could mean both my football wishes coming true or not on the same day. Man, I hope Brazil doesn't win. I hope Mexico does.
*EDIT* Mexico lost. Bad. I'm ashamed to say how bad, I'm sorry, I won't even day that. I hope stupid Brazil loses. I hate Brazil's team.
*EDIT2* I am way too happy.

I don't like souvenir T-Shirts. It's not that they're bad, I just can't see myself wearing them... it's just not my type of thing at all. Specially if they're white. But I like skinny tees, I have nothing against them. I wear a lot of those... plain black. I'm getting into printing tees as well, my first project is a Kenshin one. In fact, I went to the store today but they refused to print it. Said it was written in Japanese and they had to convert it to some vector shit and that it couldn't be printed in black because the quality was bad. Bullshit, really. A friend of mine printed a black shirt there and it's still in perfect conditions. Meaning, I'm going to Lisbon tomorrow, take the chance, and print it there. I'll say I've come a long way and I need it for my younger brother or something(since it's a cartoon print ).
Key rule if you're on a strict diet: don't eat chicken and rice like if it was the last thing on Earth. After two weeks feeding on toast, light cheese, fruit and vegetables, I went a bit mad when I saw the chicken and ate it at full speed. My sensible stomach is now complaining. I think a second pill is on the way.
I'm travelling July 30th. I'm going on a cruise on the Mediterranean... we're stopping in Tunisia, Italy, south of France. It's gonna be nice, specially the Italy part... we're sailing along the Amalfi coast [insert in love icon here]. I'm also travelling this weekend, to the north, but that doesn't count.
Why such happiness, Nancy? I was in a great mood too, before someone came to spoil it, as usual. I'll explain. I've been down for a week now, but today, I dare say, it was great day. And it was even better when I finally took a glimpse of the new Divine Comedy's video and Neil's just divine. But them a friend of mine from Lisbon signed in saying he was angry at me because he thought I wanted him to miss his tennis classes again to give me The Vines poster he had bought me last week. HUh? I didn't even know he had tennis lessons, since when could such a thought cross my mind? I love the way people picture me. Like the evil witch or something. Yes, I do want you all to miss your appointments because of me.
My ex also called me cynical and arrogant. I agreed on the arrogant bit.
What else?... Nothing.

The happiness was because my friend's staying at the same hotel then me when we go to the beach. ;D Isn't that cool? And he's one of my best friends, and I used to have a crush on him, but it's gone now thank god after like 4 months... I can't find my contacts. Ithink I'm going to get a job. Oooh my first job! ;D Arrrgh, Mexico lost 4-0 to brazil. Shameful.

I'm now not traveling (time flies) but I currenty was and visited Boston and Maine which was really fun. The t-shits I get as souvenirs aren't really tacky but they're good conversation starters. Like:
"Oh! You've been to Maine? How was it? Did you have some of their famous lobster?'
"No, not exactly...but I did discover that I am afraid of them!"
"Interesting..."
And so forth. ;D

Well, the T-shirts I get it's like..they're skinny tees ;D And you van't always tell if they're just meant to say the name of a place or they're from there. So they've never been real conversation starters. The pins on ym backpack on the other hand, got me started on a downward spiraling friendship that went on for half the first semester in which I took a lot of insults and stuff. When we realized we weren't friends, she just started to hate me. It's sort of funny.

The pins and stuff on my bag! I love them. I have:
- a Smashing Pumpkins patch on my "military"-ish bag - I embroidered Placebo on that same bag - also embroidered A Perfect Circle's logo on that bag - wrote Muse
this was a great conversation starter on my first day in my new school, since they all love the same music I do.
Then, on my small black bag, I have:
- 4 The Vines pins - 4 Placebo pints - a pin saying "Why be normal?" - a pin saying "100% Glam" - a black pin with a red star - an X-Wife pin
And yeah.

I don't really like skinny tees. All of my shirts are completely baggy, I think it's just that I feel more comfortable. I used ot have some snugger shirts but they shrunk in the wash so I had to get rid of them and when I went shopping I decided to get all loose fitted t-shirts.

I hate them baggy... because I'm really proud of my.. it's not my figure, it's just .. my torso curves, if that makes any sense, and baggy shirts don't really point that out. I'm into skinny stuff. Not too skinny, though. The baggy-ness goes for the jeans, I only wear them really large, touching the floor and everything. The ends of my favourite jeans are no more, actually, from the constant contact with the floor.

Yeah, my backpack is yellow-orange and black. Oops I forgot a quote of it... and it's one of my favourites "Maybe someday we'll be smarter and I'm sorry that I'm such a mess..." And it doesn't even look too cluttered... I'm gonna put a bunch of other stuff on it for next semester. ;D I was voted coolest backpack in our 4-person little group. *EDIT* I found my contacts. After looking for them everywhere in my room, even under the bed () I decided I was giving up for good and I was going to my mom's room to watch digital TV because they have a cool music channel that's not on my tv. My contacts were on top of her tv. Real smart.

I haven't lost my contacts in the longest time. Aren't you all so proud of me? I did lose my contact case last week though. I went through everything in my hotel room looking for it. I finally found it on top of the TV. Go figure. I put them there so I could find them easily.
My backpack is boring. It's just bright turquoise. *shrugs* I had some pins but they fall off easily at times since I tend to dump my backpack all over the place.
Two weeks out of school and I'm well on my way to doing nothing. I'm going to sign up to volunteer in places though. I should sign up right now..... too bad most places are probably closed by now. Make me call tomorrow.
It's so weird to be posting.....

Been too busy Sands?
I used to dump my backpack all over but my friend rented a locker decided it was too big and we shared it. I would just put my backpack there. Or under tha chair, which is how Stef signed it so many times. (She takes french in ym regular classroom)
Right. I'll remind you. When do you go back to school anyway?

Well that's a lie. I've been on break for a month now. I've been two weeks out of summer school. I'm due back at school the second week of September. The ninth or something like that.
But yeah things have been hectic. Do you know this is the most free time I've had since last summer? I just don't have time these days which is odd since I never seem to get much done as anyways.
But here I am, with virtually all my weekday mornings free? Well until I find something to fill the gap in my life. *rolls eyes*
My locker is too small to fit my backpack. Well it fits, but then all my books, notebooks, paper boxes etc don't fit. Last semester I had three boxes of photo paper. That combined with my text books about did it in regards to locker space.
I'll be joining French Club though. Weird. For the three years I take French I'm an "unofficial member" and finally when I'm not taking French I'll be "official."
