lol. Quando Quando is a great song...although, i dont really like Nelly Furtado singing with him...just kinda...ruins it for me. >.< that's off of his newest cd...have you listened to the cd he had out before that one? i think it's self-titled...it's the one that has Fever, Moondance, Come Fly With Me, etc...on it. that's amazing... oy, that's italian? awesome. my mom and i were wondering...lol. sorry. we're culturally deprived, it seems. what is Quando, then? Sorry I hadn't seen your post.
I don't mind Nelly Furtado. She has a couple of good songs.
Yes I heard some songs from that album on Yahoo! I'm sure I listened to "Come Fly With Me" and there was another which I can't remember right now. But they're awesome.
Hehe yeah that's italian. "Quando" means when. So basically in the repeated part(gosh I have the Maltese word in my head but I can't for the life of me remember what it is in English), he's saying "Tell me when when when". It's a remake of the song actually, because it's quite old, albeit still being quite popular.
My favourite band right now is The Beatles, and I believe they will remain in that place for quite a while.

Gotta love The Beatles!
favourite singers at the moment are Andrea Bocelli and Anthony Warlow. They are truly amazing.
As for bands... I've been listening to a lot of Coldplay, Hellogoodbye and Depeche Mode.

Hellogoodbye is great! Plus, (at least so I read when I first heard them, some 3 years ago) their name comes from the Beatles' song... you know "hello hello... i dunno why you say goodbye i say hello" that one. I've been listening to a lot of... british rock, mostly. Mäximo Park, of course, is an awesome band and one of my favourites in the lot. Clor is also pretty good, more like electropop though. And Yeti. And Babyshambles is alright. And then there's the usual, like some Franz or The Killers or the Kaiser Chiefs. They're all very dansable and great for parties.

Hahaha, I saw Kaiser Chiefs live and that put me off them. But then again, they were opening for Weezer and Foo Fighers, who I absolutely adore...

U2 came here last week. And the SECRET MACHINES opened for them. And they're pretty good. And I wasn't there. =( So that's kinda sad. And Dream Theater's coming in a week. And I don't have tickets. =( My concert life is sad right now. lol, are they really that bad live? awww man you saw weezer live! they're never ever ever coming here! =(

Oh yeah. Weezer AND Foo Fighters at the same concert? I could not leave my seat for 3 hours even though I really needed to go to the bathroom.
I still want to see Jamiorquai and Chili Peppers live, that would be awesome. And possibly Gorillaz, but I have no idea how that would work at all.

well, the players would probably be behind a screen at a Gorillaz concert, no? I wouldn't really know, it's been ages since I last listened to them with a passion.
And yeah, weezer and the foo fighters must have been amazing. and now you're in the states and there's like a million shows there too. lucky people.

Not enough bands come to Australia either, or I don't end up hearing about them being here until the night their performing, weeks after tickets have sold out usually.
Though I was ecstatic to have seen Greenday live here in December! They were supported by My Chemical Romance and Jimmy Eats World. It was awesome. So need to seem them live again if I get the oppurtunity.
I've been listening to alot of Placebo lately. I used to put them on at work when I was working in the coffee shop. It was a change from the crap that was being played on the radio.

Greenday was here in 2004, it was awesome. Iwish they'd been supported by Jimmy Eat World, though, the opening band was a mexican one whose name I never remember and which I don't particularly like. There's rumors they might come again, though... perhaps with these bands? My friend sent me an email in the wee hours of this morning just to say that Race the Sun is coming. However it is almost certain that I can't go. =(

See, that's the thing. I know that nobody ever hardly comes out to Australia so I want to go to as many concerts and stuff here while I can.
Argh, I want to see Greenday live. I don't know about JEW and MCR though, their stuff is a bit too boppy for my liking. Or maybe I'm just old. Nie, what was Greenday's set list like?

I would love to see JEW live. I dunno about MCR, probably they would be alright for a couple of songs and that'd be it. Greenday when they came here, played: - American Idiot - Jesus of Suburbia - Holiday - Boulevard of Broken Dreams - St. Jimmy - Extraordinary Girl - Wake me up when September Ends - When I come Around - Basket Case - Warning - Minority - Time of Your Life No encores

MCR is brilliant live, in my opinion. they've all got outstanding stage energy, and after the shows they're worn out and tired, but happy story of the year hits san antonio in one week...i think i'll go

Recently I've become a real pure Queen lover at heart. I just can't get enough of them! I could just listen to their songs all day and keep on going. ;D And then my mom bought me the DVD of the Queen Live at Wembley Concert which was just THE BEST. Watching it just sent shivers down my spine. Alas it's the closest I can get to the real thing. Although I do know there are bands imitating them singing their songs and such. Sadly when one such band came to Malta I happened to be up up in France. *sigh*
Now I must get my hands on their Best Songs Collection. Greedy me. ;D

Oh yeah. I went to the Chili Peppers concert and they are definitely my favourite living band. (The Beatles count as my fave band of all time, but anyway.) It was awesome. Their set list was mostly stuff from Californication, By the Way and Stadium Arcadium, but they also played some of their REALLY old stuff, which was cool. If you have heard the new album, check out Wet Sand. I like.
