Rita, you make perfect sense. Stop fretting. Yeah, that might be right. Sorta like how the movie people just put James as a Seeker in the first movie, even though JKR later says he's a Chaser.
Oh boy, Salazar vs. Godric fight? This sounds like a soap opera again.

Someone wanna PM me with where I should be clicking to get the light turned on in the dark room?
I think I've clicked everywhere possible without hitting it.

The light switch is level to the last horizontal line of the window and is like an inch or a couple of centimeters in from the left of the door. Just go a bit below the doorknob and the plate (or whatever you call that thing attached to the doorknob). And thanks for the link Hermione but my cousin gave me some hints to the safe and I figured it out from there.

If you guys go to the news section of her site and read the Edinburgh Book Festival entry, you sorta get the impression that McClaggan isn't going to be a hugely important character.
BUT I read the excerpt again (hehe, it's so exciting just to reread it!), and I really think that might be the DADA professor. He still might be related to Godric somehow, but the way it's written, it sounds like she's describing the first time Harry and co. see the new professor.

Yeah I read the same thing on another website. She said she usually does an X when she doesn't know a name. I don't think she's do an X for the name of a main character. He might just be some random guy like Mark Evans.
I know this isn't exactly on the exerpt bit, but what about the second code? 302723. At first I thought it might be some kind of date or something, but that's impossible.

I'm thinking about a name:
3 0 2 7 2 3 D _ A P A D E _ B Q B E F _ C R C F _____S______
Thos are the letter options for each number. Best one I could come up with so far was "D. Brad" "E. Brad" or "F. Brad"
*note: the last letter "S" has all those lines with it because it wouldn't stay in place under the 7 unless I did that.

I've been wanting to figure out what that code means, too. How did you get those letters from those numbers, Ti?

Oh, I see. Well, what else could the code mean? The first thing I recognized after seeing the code was that Daniel Radcliffe's birthday is July 23 (I think). But I doubt it has anything to do with him, actually.
Hey, maybe they're page numbers?

Well let's hope it's two or more page numbers and not one page number.

Heh, yeah. I'm thinking pages 302 and 723. The latter would have to be in OotP, but the first could be in PoA - OotP, right? I'm going to check them out.

Hey ya! You're right! It could be the pages.
Does COS, have 302 pages? You know, the connection and everything.

I was about to say that, herm.
Here's page 302. And yes, I did type it all up.
Note that this is the American version She most likely is speaking of the British version. although I'm unsure of what the difference will be.

Thanks Herm.
So Harry, Ron and Lockhart have just run into the Basilik's shedded skin. Harry stepped on a rat's skull.
Either this is a dead end or something is not so obvious in here...
