*drolls at the thought of Nialle's bookshelves* I only got a peek, you know?
So are you only Slytherin-ish when it comes to business and work? Or does it transfer to other things also? Like, when I'm feeling particularly Slytherin-like, I'll say something short to my mom and leave. It's not that I want to be rude, it's just that some other things are more important sometimes, yes? So I guess I might be asking if your priorities are slipping around a bit and rearranging themselves. Because you might just be doing that, and then it feels like you're being more Slytherin-ish since the things you're focusing on now are more central to you, rather than you being central to all the things other people want you to do... Just a thought. Maybe you're just not as Huff, and it feels Slytherin because of that.
Erm, yeah. If Slytherins appreciate Nana, then I have some major Slytherin-tendencies. (Or maybe the things I've heard when your grandmother pops out are making me biased...)
But in general, I have a really good Slytherin-front. You should see me when I go to Public School. I get all super-defensive, and the insults just pop out like no other. I had this really good reputation as a person you did not want to get into a word-bash with. 'Cause I can just take things that aren't necessarily insulting, but I can twist them a little and... there you go, the other person is speechless. Of course, it always helped that the people I was "fighting" were pretty shallow when it came to insults. So they'd call me "gay" and "he-she" and stuff. And I didn't care too much. And then I'd tell them that the only reason their "friends" hung around with them was because they weren't smart enough to find something else to do. *shrugs* I was good at hitting more than one person at a time... *remembers* I kinda feel really bad about some of the stuff I said, you know? But it was the only way I saw to get through being the outcast there. If people end up getting more hurt themselves than hurting you, they stop coming after you...
*changes topic slightly* And if I think that someone hurt someone I care for, then I tell them off in my head. (Yeah, a lot of people in Iowa have been yelled at lately, and they didn't even know it... )
The "dorky lawyer" is [Nivek]?
Harry and Draco: *grins* I knew you'd get it. *thinks* Yeah, that was the thing that I never really like about Harry. I mean, he gets so mad about stuff. And I can understand that, but I guess I just bottle up better than he does or something. 'Cause I never would have blown up Marge. I would have made very thinly veiled insults. So if he really had to work, like you're saying, and learn to appreciate Draco... I think I wouldn't find Harry as "annoying" (that's not the right word, but it'll have to do) as I do.
