I recently received an Xbox and I found the game ''HALO 2'' was a very great game filled with...alot of stuff... Has anyone else here played it?

Great online free-to-play online game that I've been shown is Conquer Online. Pretty much a stat builder, but it's a fun way to pass some time. Plus, you can leave it running in the background while your character is in the training ground (after you've reached level 20) and do other tasks and still gain experienece. You can play 4 different classes, all of which have their own advantages and skills. So yeah. Thought there might be a few people here interested in a free online game.

i play halo 2. can't say i'm good at it, but it's fun. reminds me of Unreal Tournament for the PC. Fun days, fun days... i was flipping through a gamer's mag today and there was this poster for The Legend of Zelda for Gamecube. The graphics kicked ass. i want it!!!

I've played Halo2 a bit as well. The team deathmatch is awesome, especially if you have a system link cable and two or more xboxes and TVs...
I like how you can do the double gun thing. And the graphics seem to be more colourful, but that could just be me.
Speaking of XBox, has anyone played Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory? It's the new SC one that's out. It's really, really good - heaps better than Pandora Tomorrow. You can now stab people with a knife instead of shooting them (you didn't have knives previously), and there's a sound meter, and best of all, there's co-op missions you can do with someone else. So yeah, that one is really worth a try if you like espionage type games.

i've played Halo 2 a fair bit. I get my butt whooped everytime, including against my much younger cousins. It's embarrassing. I can't play shooting games with a controller, i just cant. I need a keyboard and a mouse, damn it! I haven't player Chaos Theory yet, but i hated Pandora Tommorow.

Hey Zicdeh, you could always get the Xbox (or maybe it was Logitech?) keyboard and mouse to put into the usb port on your game console...
And what's wrong with Pandora Tomorrow? I've finished it twice. Chaos Theory is still better though. Heaps more variables and stuff.

yeah, the logitech keyboards. I could, but i don't have my own Xbox and it's a little expensive for me just to buy it to take to friends' houses I didn't like Pandora Tommorrow because i didn't think it was as tense and exciting as the first one, which i really liked.

Tom Raider was alright. Helloooooo Angelina. ;D
Mario Bros was weird and slightly annoying because the plot didn't make any sense whatsoever and it just seemed to be some sort of feeble attempt to cram as many Mario Bros. references as they could into like 1.5 hours. I wouldn't mind seeing what they do with Halo though, because it was a pretty cool game.

To me halo is no different to any other shoot em up game...I dont understand all the hype...I much prefer games like medal of honor...same style of game but more entertaining i think..

I'm really over war games, I just don't find them that interesting. I like random unrealistic shoot em up games and stuff, like the GTA series. ;D
Oh well. Halo was great because of the graphics and everything, but I don't know how that can translate onto the screen. The thing that I didn't like about Halo was the whole plot when they put aliens in it.

I've been enjoying playing Neverwinter Nights and Starcraft of late. I still love strategy and wargames and stat builders. They're just fun. And I'm planing on getting the 3 pack of Total war games: Medieval, Viking and Rome. I'm have sooooo much fun with them.
It's great in the Medieval one. I remember playing a game and conquering Europe by bribing the armies of the smaller countries to turn againts their governments and overthrow them. They took over the countries for me. I ended up with that many armies it was easy to conquer everyone else. I loved it ;D

My brother plays that Nie, though not in a while. He's too busy with school and his life.
I just tried out that game called "Guitar Heroes". I actually liked it. Unlike DDR, I was able to keep up with it most of the time. It was pretty fun.

I haven't played Conquer for a while either now. Too busy with other things mostly. I did, however, spend most of the other night playing thorugh and finishing a great little online riddles game called Tricky's Riddles. Took me 9 hours of thinking and searching to get through it. I thought a few of your here might be interested in something to get the grey matter working overtime.
