OOOOH.
NINTENDO Wii.
Where have you been all my life?! This is arguably the best console I've ever seen...

I second that!
My brother will be buying it when he has enough money for it. I'm so excited to be able to play NES, SNES, N64, and all the old school games that'll be available for it.
Come to Momma!!

My roommate has one, and it is freaking sweet. We currently have four games: Wii sports (which I think comes with the Wii anyways), Red Steel (FPS/sword game with a yakuza twist), Rayman Raving Rabbids (lots of hilarious minigames, including one where you have to milk a pig?!) and Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Twilight Princess is pretty similar to Ocarina of Time in terms of the darkness of the story and the maturity level of Link (although I named my character Jeebus, hahaha), and it's by far the largest Zelda world I've seen for one of these games. There's a whole bunch of traveling between places so you get a horse and some warp points, but traveling between places takes a long while. Using the wiimote and the nunchuck as your sword and shield is pretty fun as well, although it takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of (e.g. you have to thrust the wiimote forward if you want Link to thrust etc. and you just never had to do that before) but otherwise it's pretty fun.
There are a bunch of sidequests you can do as well, and if you've ever played Nintendo's Animal Crossing, there's the bug catching and fishing quests from that, as well as some other things you can do to earn money and nifty items, so if you've played that, it'll give you an idea of what you need to do. The graphics are awesome, and the soundtrack is pretty good too.
