yes, grrrr to them!!
no, i think they would wan to hire someone with creativity adn skills as well. they need to have room to promote or demote them and all that. they would also want someone who could cover for a day if need be, and they would want to be paying someone to sit in a room and think up ideas. people like that have to go free lance.

FFX is so ace. I'm completely addicted to it, and I've done about half of it. But I have to take it back to the video store tomorrow.
*grins* Pacman is so cool. We had it on our very first computer when I was like, 5 years old. It was an Apple IIe and had a black and green screen and one of those big floppy disc drives.

omg! my first computer had one of those huge floppy drives as well!! and it started in DOS mode, but it had the coolest games on it like prince of persia and monopoly and stuff. and my uncle installed windows on it, but you had to start it in DOS mode and type in win to get it to start. i loved that computer. i really did.
yay!! i got Oni for $20!! ;D i'll have it in a couple of weeks and then i'll be able to play it lots. +glee+

I've never played Oni, Ele. You have to tell me how good it is.
I remember when computers needed people to type "win" before you could start up windows. And there were only 4 games when you started it.
Hey, did anyone have an Atari? Or a Commodore computer? ;D

i had an atari!! and i had games like forgger and centipede and pacman, and i had this game for it that like 32 games in one and it was so cool. there was boxing, and this cool one where you had to go fishing, and the old tennis type and....*happy gamers sigh of joy* ;D
i actually miss that old atari. the graphics were a bit bland, but damn those games were good!!

I remember the Prince of Persia ;D I only had a demo version though
Is FotR worth buying? I was thinking of trading in T2T and getting FotR instead.

I liked FoTR better than T2T in the sense that the game is a lot truer to the book. So Tom Bombadil and Old Man Willow and all that are in it, and instead of just running around beating the crap out of Orcs and Uruk-Hai you actually had to figure out stuff and do puzzles (not like, stupid maze things but like, walk around and figure what to do with an item you can use and stuff) which made it slightly more interesting.
T2T has better graphics though.
Oh, I had Prince of Persia! And I got PoP2- the Shadow and the Flame. But I was really horribly crap that that one, I'd keep falling onto the spikes and getting impaled to death.

For a while, getting impaled seemed to be what I did best.
But it was soooooo cool!! I loved that monotonous electronic imitation Persian music and the graphics were really god for the time. The only problem was we never figured out how to save it, so we'd have to go and start from the beginging every time we played it. I tell ya. It got to the point where I could do the first three levels with my eye's closed just listening to the music and his foot steps.

In the demo version, all you could do is find your sword, and fight a few baddies There was a time limit; An hour or something. We could finish the devil in, oh, 7 minutes But it was fun ;D
Thanx Ko for the info; I just have to decide whether I should get anymore games before the HSC
Has anybody played Kingdom Hearts? I was cleaning yesterday () and I found a demo CD for it. It actually looked good. But is it any good?

The timer was there because you had a time limit to finish the entire game.
It's probably advisable to not get any new games before the HSC, unless you have amazing and ultimate self disipline, which is going to be sorely tested in doing the HSC anyway.
Kingdom Hearts is meant to be AWESOME!! I want to get it soooo bad. But $109 is a little out of my price range.

Yes, well, my, erm, discipline....Yes. About this much; *Holds thumb and forefinger together* I bought Warcraft III last year, for my birthday (August). I played it up until the end of the year. Not-so-good for all of my exams
Kingdom Hearts is $90 here in NSW. Can't remember where; Probably Electronics Boutique. That place is the bestest place for video games. The employees are so energetic Very good business. 7-Day return limit. I got T2T for $20 there ;D I love 'em

but....but....i don't have an electronics boutique anywhere near me.....
and if that is what your disipline is like, i'd suggest you don't get kingdom hearts till you have finished all your hsc and uni the lot. you will severly handicap yourself otherwise.

Electronics Boutique is the best store in the world, from a gamer nerd point of view. ;D Ele, I gave you the locations of all the EBs in NSW- you said there was one near the shops in Sydney you went to with your dad?
Er, Rubes, ditto what Ele said about Kingdom Hearts. It's kinda addictive. Like how I was with FFX after a week, I could only bring it back to the video store at 11:55pm on the night it was due.
Hey, but when you DO end up getting it (AFTER your HSC!), check out the preowned section of EB- they're having a sale right now on PS2/XB/GC games. I get most of my games preowned, except for when I got FotR because it was $49 for some reason when it was marked as $99 in the catalog.

So it's good then?
Ahh well; I won't be buying games for; 1) HSC , 2) After school travelling, 3) Buying Koala-in-a-can's (I saw them at the airport on the weekend ;D)
I've bought a few games from the pre-owned section, but I can't find any good games. I would really like a Perfect Dark equivalent, or a Zelda equivalent, for Playstation 2. Oh, and Quidditch of course
