Aren't they cool?! JKR revealed those chapter titles a few months ago on her website (using one of her delightfully creative puzzles...it was her Halloween present to us ;D). But it's always nice to be reminded of them. We can continue speculating about what those chapters are going to be about...
(P.S. 89 more days!)

I am SO excited for the book to come out! My IRL "Harry Potter Freaks" friends and I have already planned a big sleepover in which on the night of July 15th we shall drive up to the nearest bookstore and campouti n line to await the selling at midnight!!! ;D There's this store over here in America that's called Hot Topic. It would kind of be classified as a "Gothic" store, but it has everything to do with Nightmare Before Christmas, Harry Potter, Punk Rock bands, punk-style clothes, etc. the whole point of telling you this is that they sell these awesome Harry Potter ties and we have bought Gryffie ones and we're gonna have a Harry Potter day at school! Mind you, we might be shunned by the existing-high-schoolers-who-think-they're-above-silly-childish-things-such-as-Harry-Potter- but-continue-to-secretly-read-the-books-and-count-down-the-days-'til-Book-Six, but we don't care! We're EXCITED!!! ;D ;D ;D Sorry about that little tidbit of my HP-fan-freak life... Ice, I hope you won't mind--I just modified your post so that it would fit in the screen normally. Sorry, I'm anal retentive. [/color]

I think it's really cool Ice!! None of my friends like to read HP, or at least, one or two of them who do read the books aren't very fanatic about them.
I wish we had stuff like that around here.

This isn't necessarily related to HBP, but I just read this article and thought, Not this again.
Honestly though, I don't think such a comment, even if it is made by the leader of the Catholic Church, will affect the future books. JKR is respectful and knows that while her books, like any good book, can be "seductive" and addictive, the purpose was never to present an anti-religious message of any kind.

Yeah I know, it's pretty infuriating. Especially if you consider the fact that the previous Pope thought that HP was really cool.
But my dad pointed out that if he accepted HP, the he's also have to accept other books like the Wicca series etc. Besides, this new pope is a bit on the traditional side.

A bit? He's ultra-conservative, which I don't necessarily disagree with. But I just don't understand how anyone can see satanic ends in the HP series.

People read what they want to read.
I can't wait until the book comes out. I have my copy reserved but I'll be camping out again. I almost fell asleep last time.
Great times. I'm not the kind of HP fan that goes all out. I mean I like the books, but I'm not a memorabilia kind of person.

I just realised that if I the shop I booked my copy from opens at 8AM, although I think it opens before, and since I think there's an 8hr time difference between here and the US, I'd still be getting my copy at around you guys' time. The lucky ones are the British I tell you. And I think the Aussies too. They get it before anyone.

Oh Hermy, you don't have to worry about that. You'll be done reading it sooner than anyone. ...But I'm still getting it at midnight. ;D

I'm getting mine at midnight. Half the fun is in trying to stay awake while sitting in the middle of the history section at Borders. Plus they always have the dress up contests.
When OotP came out I didn't fall asleep until I realized the sun was rising and it was pretty late.
In anticipation of the release I have promised myself that I will shut out any future rumors about the book. So really I only know what the covers looks like (or what they say it'll be like).
I'm not sure I want to read it though. Look at what happened last time, Sirius died.

Absolutley outrageous...just take a look at these: [Edit] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the high security placed on the "Potter Plant" in Germany, even more OUTRAGEOUS than the other piece of news: Honestly, this thing is turning out to be like a "movie-scenario" type of thing. (52 Days, 3 hours, 47 minutes to the release of HBP) All quotes above taken from www.mugglenet.com

Wiz, I'm really scared to read what you posted since I see that spoiler warning. I don't want this to turn into another ruining-OotP deal. So I only skimmed what you have up there. But I did catch the part where it said the book is being published in separate chunks, which I find quite hilarious. ;D Reminds me of how movie/TV producers make different endings just to throw people off.
