I'm starting this again because the other thread was too big.
Basically, this thread is here to discuss your love (and/or hate) of food! And exchange recipes. Or discuss weird or gross things you have eaten. Actually, that's a good one to start with. What are some weird things you have eaten and how were they cooked? We used to have a kid in our class that ate paper and grass.

Haha! Why am I not surprised you eat weird/gross things Zicdeh?
Um, when I was little, my friends and I used to pick these plants in the school garden and squeeze the nectar out and drink it and stuff, but I think in large doses it was supposed to be toxic or something (because once a gardener caught us and lectured us about this or whatever). I've eaten weird meats before, like goat and crocodile and kangaroo and snake and stuff. They all taste like chicken. (Except kangaroo meat, which tastes like beef)

I ate my sister's cooking once... (My sister being the kind of cook that manages to get bright blue blotches through a stirfry). I've actually eaten paper, before. It was in class as well. It was maths, and the maths teacher wasn't bothering to teach as (as he usually opted to do...), and I was getting bored with his stories about nearly lossing eyes and limbs as a child and was looking for something to do and before I knew it I was tearing a page out of my book work book, stuffing it in my mouth and chewing it. It was kind of bland.

A created a very good lassative. We were supposed to be doing a breakfast as an assignment in class. It consisted of boiling and egg, squeezing some natural orange juice, getting some toast ready, a bowl of cereal, and making porridge. I hadn't had time to practise how to do the porridge the day before and I didn't know what to do. We were doing things in pairs and the girl with me poured 500ml of milk in her bowl, and so I did the same. It turns out she didn't know what she had to do either, so the teacher ended up screaming at how we had ever managed to get such a result. Good thing she didn't make us eat it or anything; after preparing the whole breakfast, we were supposed to eat it. But I had told her beforehand that there was no way she could make me eat the egg. I hate eggs.
So that was one experience I seriously don't want to pass through again.

My sister hates eggs too, because she thinks they smell funny. I don't mind them, but I hate soft boiled eggs and eggs when the yolk is all runny. That's gross, because it makes me think about eating the little fluffy chicken that the egg could have turned into...

Eggs are yummy. But I don't really like the yolks runny either, and I prefer them boiled than fried, although they're niced poached occasionally.
I love egg salad sandwiches. ;D

Oooh! Me too! I like it when you shred the lettuce really little on it especially. And I like egg and cheese on toast in the morning, or an egg and mushroom and cheese omlette with toast is also good. ;D

I hate eggs. They're my most hated food by far......except maybe for mushrooms
My favourite is probably a good curry, but it has to be hot. Reeeeeally hot. *drooling*

Haha Zicdeh, so I can't tempt you with a three egg and cheese and mushroom omlette? ;D
Oh, curry. *drools* Especially to nose-running hotness.

Exactly. If your nose and eyes aren't running afterwards, then it wasn't hot enough
And no, you couldn't tempt me with a three egg and cheese and mushroom omelette I may eat raw squid for money, but i wouldn't eat that. No way. (Does anyone else find that weird ;D)

Weird, that's like my sister. But what if you were offered eggs and cheese in non-egg and cheese form? Like in a cheesecake or something? Would you eat that?

don't ask, i don't get it either.

What about normal cake? Like sponge cake or something? That's got eggs in it, but you can't see or taste them as eggy... or what about stuff like french toast?
Ew, sausages scare me.
