I'll probably still be wearing black, just to be on the safe side. I got a whole load of peaches today. I love peaches. ANd got strawberries and blueberries too. Can't get enough fruit in summer. Mmmm... fruit....

"Millions of peaches, peaches for me, millions of peaches, peaches for free" *laughs*
Oooh, I love berries the most in summer. I'm not huge on stone fruit because my mouth doesn't seem to agree with them, but berries- I could eat them all day! I'm trying to find a good berry sorbet recipe or something this summer. Or some sort of orange/lemon gelati or something. I looooove gelati. ;D

Ko, do you mean gelati as in, ice cream? Because, weird coincidence, gelati is the word in Maltese for ice cream too. Although, we do write it like this, "ġelati".
Christmas is only a week away and we did the Christmas log today!! I just love it since all you need are shredded biscuits, sweet creamed milk, and nuts. I absolutely LOVE nuts! *puts on a squirrel costume*

We have a place here called Gelatisimo. It has some of the best gelati I've ever had in all sorts of weird and wonderful flavours. I love that place. Me and my friends try to go there at least once a week.
Tepinyaki was sooooo much fun. I wanna go there again.

*laughs* What did they chop up and try to feed you at Teppanyaki, Nie?
Hey Hermy, that log thing sounds a lot like hedgehog slice without chocolate. Hedgehog is basically crushed up biscuits, condensed milk, butter and cocoa and you melt the butter in a pot and tip in the milk and cocoa and stir in the biscuits and put it on a tray in the fridge until it sets. SOOOOO good. We've made like, 100 pieces this week or something.
Gelati... oh my god. We have this place called Trampoline which sounds like Nie's Gelatisimo. They have a chocolate fountain (Yes!!) in the store and you can get all these weird and interesting flavours and stuff. It's great in summer, and it's just down the road from where I live.

Ah condensed! That's the right word for it! I've found a piccie of the hedgehog log you mentioned Ko. Is it something like this?
'Cause it kind of resembles one kind of nougat they sell here in the village feasts.
There's this stand at a bay in Gozo, and everytime we go there in summer, I always buy a cup. And it's not like a normal cup or anything. You ask for a 'normal', and it's really big. I don't want to think how large the 'large' is. But it's really really good.

Mmmm, nougat. They sell really good nougat at Darrel Lea (a chocolate shop), and i think i'm going to go get some....
I love teppanyaki restaurants! I don't think japanese people really[\i] eat sushi. I think it's just a ploy so that teppanyaki chefs can go to their friends "hey, watch this. I betcha i can get this guy to eat this raw fish!"

This might seem like a really daft question but what is Tepinyaki?
I love Gelati. Unfortunately it is not avaliable here. I had it in Italy so much nicer than our ice cream
Cream teas arrive in Summer over here. i find them a bit sickly but the ideas nice. Sit outside and eat in the sun.
I would love to go to Japan.
I love berries as well Koneko. Especially in smoothies.

Teppanyaki is like this Japanese style of cooking stuff where you all sit around the chef who is at a BBQ-grill type thingy which is in the middle of your table, and he (they all seem to be male!) cooks your food in front of you on the BBQ thingy and then usually throws it to you or something tricky like that (you catch it in a bowl). Here's a picture of the table and how it works:
Qhat's cream tea Natz? Is that like milk tea?
Oh, I had wheatgrass juice the other day for the first time!! I had been avoiding it because my friends had had it before and said that it tasted like the smell of lawnmower cut grass, you know, really grassy and oily? I had it in a strawberry and banana smoothie, so it was supposed to be a pink drink right? But once the wheatgrass was in it went poopy brown. Anyway it didn't taste too bad; I think the smoothie disguised it a bit though.

Here if you have a wheatgrass shoot they give you a shot of orange juice to take the taste away. I haven't braved it yet.
Cream tea is when you buy a pot of tea and milk. The difference is they give you a scone with butter jam and cream on it all together to eat with the tea.
Traditionally this happened around four o'clock in the afternoon.
You have to catch the food in a bowl? I don't think i could manage that.

I made burritos today. My gosh they were good. My housemate, Rohan, described them as a "colonic cleansing experience". I really love mexican food because it's so nice and spicy and fills you up. Wheatgrass scares me a bit. It's all green and thick and makes me think of green alien ooze...

(Hey! What's the new job?)
Ooooh, I love mexican as well. Dallas makes really good nachos. We usually make our own guacamole and salsa so it's all good. Haven't had burritos for a long time though! I like beans though. They're fun.
Haha, wheatgrass is so gross. When I got the juice they cut the wheatgrass in front of you and put it through a grinding thingy machine and this green goop just kind of comes out into your cup. Gaaaah. It smelt pretty bad (like oily cut grass) but I couldn't taste it in my smoothie.

I think i'd be scared with the green gloop and the smoothie changing colour.
I like mexician food as well. its spicy. The favourite dish over here is curry.
It smells bad at the smoothie bar i go to because they have it growing in front of you.

(Hey! What's the new job?) (I don't exactly know what the new job is yet. I'm waiting for them to finish drawing up my NDA so they can tell me. But it's an IT job.) I think I'm going to be brave and try some wheatgrass juice next time I have a smoothie then. If it tastes really bad, I'll blame all of you. ;D Right now, I have a craving for hazelnut praline filled chocolate. Mmmmmm....

If it tastes bad have a cream tea straight afterwards but this could undo any goodness of the wheatgrass.
i haven't actually tried it because its £1 a shot which is quite expensive and the smoothie bar is expensive enough to begin with.
I'll try some next time i go into town on monday.
I like that chocolate. Vegan chocolate tastes the best as it is made out of nearly pure cocoa and tastes delicious.
Congrats on the new job
