I make really nice cakes when I have the time to do baking. I love baking.
That reminds me... I need to get hold of some brandy and start preping for a yule tide fruit cake.

I love fruit cake. I especially love my fruit cakes. I also love grapes. I can never get enough of them... mainly because at the moment they're so damn expensive.

I only like green grapes. Red grapes taste kinda funny.
Why are they so expensive? Is it like, 'non-grape season' or something

No, it is grape season, which is why I'm kinda pissed off that they're so expensive. Don't know why they are. I just really want grapes, but don't see the point in paying $22 a kg for them.

I know! It's ridiculous. It's a wonder the fruit and veg marts are bothering to buy them if they have to seel them for that much to make a profit. It'd be cheaper for me to start growing my own. There is, however, a fruit and veg mart near me selling cherries pretty cheap. ;D

Hehe. Actually, I'm not one for that fruitcake/plum cake thingy they give out at this end of the year, because I don't really like dried fruit (not to mention that I am allergic to most of the fruit that goes into said cakes). But I do like a good raisin butter cake loaf thingy (I can't remember what they are called) and I am an absolute sucker for orange cake, especially a chocolate orange cake with icecream and lashings of cream and chocolate sauce. ;D

Plums? I dislike plums. A lot, actually I like dried apricots though. We had a competition once, we ate a whole bag of dried apricots each and then drank a litre of water. I've never been so sick, haha (well, at least i won......right? )
What fruits are you allergic to? My cousin has food allergies, but he has those nasty peanut and egg ones. If he gets even a trace of those two foods into his body, we have to give him an adrenaline injection within about 5 minutes.

They're not THAT bad, although I also have a cousin who has the same reaction to peanuts and shellfish and we have to stab him with the epiderm needle as well!
With fruit like cherries and apricots and peaches and stuff like that, it makes my mouth all red and itchy and if I eat the stuff it makes my throat itchy and stuff as well. Not nice. Same goes for citrus fruit and pineapples. But the weird thing is it only applies to fresh fruit, but if the pineapple is canned or I'm drinking orange juice or something, then I don't get a reaction.

I would die if i was allergic to oranges. They're my favourite fruit.
Hmm. That is strange. Maybe you are allergic to some pesticide spray they use on the fresh fruit or something?
