What about normal cake? Like sponge cake or something? That's got eggs in it, but you can't see or taste them as eggy Although I don't like eggs, I do eat food with eggs in the mixture. Just not whole eggs.
And I don't like fruit cakes either(if they are what I think they are). Christmas season's comin' and you know what that means? Good food here I come! ;D
My mum'll start baking the traditional christmas cake soon. It's kind of like a fruit cake, with a little bit of vodka me think. I'll try finding a piccie! Then there's the rings which I die for!

Hmm. That is strange. Maybe you are allergic to some pesticide spray they use on the fresh fruit or something? Perhaps, but with citrus fruit and pineapples, it's not like I eat the skin, which is where the sprays go. So maybe that's the case with stone fruit or something, I don't know!
Hmm, what's this ring cake thing? Is it like a bundt cake? You know, upside down pineapple cake? ;D Oh, when I was in France, for Christmas they had this little flat sweet pastry cake called Gallette de Rois. Inside the Gallette was a little ceramic figurine or a toy or a coin or something, and if you got the slice with the prize in it, you were the king (or queen) and got to wear a nifty paper crown. ;D

Actually, KoKo, it sounds like your mouth and throat may just be sesitive to the acidity level in those fruits. Christmas dinner was a bit of a pain for me last year. Everyone seemed to forget I was vegetaran, so even half the salads they made had meat in them. Very annoying.

I thought pork was also a white meat? And seafood?
(But I hate most seafood, it's icky and has that fishy stank. But apparently if you soak your raw fish in milk for 24 hours in the fridge prior to cooking, it gets rid of the icky fish smell.)

lol, Pork isn't white! (I don't like pork, either. )
I hate fish though. All seafood. Won't touch the stuff, unless it's for money ;D
Ko, what do you do with the milk afterwards?

I don't know what you do with the milk, but you sure as hell can't drink it!! (Well, technically you could, but... gross. ) I think you just tip it out. The fish-in-milk tip came out of my sister's "Queer Eye" calendar which is full of nifty hints like that.

This is one of the rings I mentioned earlier. I dunno how you can say what the filling is in english, but it sure is good. Oh wait I remember! They're called Honey Rings or something like that if you translate the words literally. So they have honey in them, but I can't remember what the black stuff is called.
I hate all kinds of seafood. And the smell is terrible. Milk? I never heard of that one. I know they use vinegar to get the smell from their hands; my grandmother does that anyway.
We don't eat turkey or anything like that at Christmas. Just a normal more celebration type dinner; the food's usually lasagne and some kind of meat.

What i'm interested in knowing is how the hell that fact was discovered
"Hmm, I wonder what will happen if i put this smelly bit of fish in this big glass of milk......"

Seafood... blech. Especially crustaceans, I mean, you get like a lobster claw or leg or something and it's so much effort for this teensy little bit of meat. Weak, man. And it has that icky salt water briney taste. (But I guess dipping it in milk overnight will get rid of that!! ;D)
Actually I think milk does that with a lot of things. Like, it removes odours and stuff in the fridge if you leave a glass out. Same goes with onions and lemons.
Oooh, Zicdeh, if you like chocolate and oranges, have you tried the Nesquik choc-orange mudslide milk mix? That stuff is delicious.

Ooooo!! KoKo, if you like coffee, you'd probably like the Gloria Jean's Swiss Orange Mocha. It's a cold drinkwith coffee, chocolate and orange. It's really, really yummy. I woke up this morning and had the stranest craving for some vegetable soup. So I've currently got a big pot of it cooking on the stove. I haven't had vegetable soup in ages. Also helps that this morning when I woke up it was suddenly kind of cold again. Stupid weather.

Nie! That's like the weather here! I mean, it was supposed to be the first day of summer yesterday right? And I get up and it's grey and cloudy and starts raining and it's freezing! Stupidass weather indeed!
Hehehe, that orange mocha stuff sounds really good... *drools* but speaking of cravings, I really really really wanted a potato and cheese pancake (with sour cream and chives and a salad) yesterday, but the thing was, I knew I wouldn't finish it if I got one because I had just had dinner! So I sat there and complained about how much I wanted this pancake for about 2 hours, and now today I STILL want it dammit! Stupid irrational mind!
