AAAH I love the Simpsons I grew up with it because my older brother loves it. Know who's really funny? Ralph Wiggum. Who's seen the one where Lisa gives him the Valentine?

Haha, KoNeko, of course I've seen that one. "Don't give me that kiss of death, you black widow!" (Burns) ;D
What's sky telly? Is that like cable? Well, I saw it on regular TV, but I don't know what you guys watch Simpsons on. But yeah, Lisa did say that. Lisa seems to have two sides to her: mature/intelligent or gigglish/girlish (have you ever seen the episode with Jesse, Cory, or the cute young-adult librarian...she's always dreamy-eyed in those). And I guess she was more girlish when she ran into Rowling.
Haha, Ralph is awesome. ("Go banana!") I've seen the Valentine one...many times.

*laughs* I'm more amused at the way they drew Harry Potter in the background on those stills... he looks awesome! ;D
Oh, Ralph is so cute. He annoys me because he's so stupid though, but he has some really classic lines.
"My cat's breath smells like cat food"
Ralph: "Miss Hoover, there's a doggie in the vent" Miss Hoover: "Ralph, is this like the time you saw Snagglepuss in the hall?" Ralph: "He needed to go to the bathroom".
;D

Oh, we like, FINALLY got that "The Simpsons go to England" episode over here just last week... and yeah. It was really her (check the credits at the end)...! So I thought I'd just say yay to that.
And huzzah for the new simpsons episodes that have started coming back on- most recently we had the one where Krusty has his Bar Mitzvah.

We haven't got the simpsons in england yet and i live in england. How daft is that Anyway we are still on the repeats which have now moved on to the fairly recent episodes. Is that the one with tony blair in koneko?

*laughs* Yeah, it is, Tony Blair is in it and he welcomes the Simpsons when they get off the plane, and then after he talks to them for a bit, he says "I have to go, there is a [Norweigan?] couple arriving at gate 23" and he straps on a rocket pack and flies away. It's all quite James Bond-ish, but the funniest bit was after he left and Homer was like,
"I can't believe we just met Mr. Bean!" ;D

Ah that is so funny. We saw a clip of that bit. he does look a bit like mr bean. Seriously though the person who plays mr bean is earning 55 million a year. I was quite suprised by this.
Theres been contreversy around that episode because tony blair took time out during the war to record it.

Guess what? Tonight I met Nancy Cartwright (aka the voice of Bart, Maggie, Nelson, Ralph, Rod and Todd etc) when she was doing her show here, and it was awesome. She's so nice and down-to-earth (and only half an inch taller than me) and yeah. I'll write more about this, but I'm just really excited that I got to talk to her and stuff! ;D

Hope you had a good time with her. How many characters exactly does she do the voices for?

Well, she's Bart, Nelson and Ralph primarily, but she also does Kearney's voice and Rod and Todd (she says she likes Todd better, she's done Todd's voice 157 times and Rod 155 or something) and she also does the sucking noise for Maggie, and when Homer burps, it's Nancy doing it because Dan (who does Homer's voice) cannot burp on cue! So yeah, basically she really likes her job because she gets paid to burp and fart and stuff.

That's awesome, KoNeko. :-) There was just an article in one of our papers about Yeardley Smith, who voices Lisa Simpson. Apparently she has a sort of one-woman show that she'll be doing in the city. It's all about how she was always an over-achiever but never got any sort of joy from her accomplishments and how she suffered from an eating disorder as well. However, she does also talk about how she got her life on track and learned to be proud of her work, though she still finds it funny that most of the praise she receives comes from voicing a cartoon character.

Oh well good for her
Is estatic because a new simpson episode finally came over. It was the one where Homer became a missonary and bart took over his job.
Did anyone find this moving or was it just me?

Find what moving?
Hahaha, Natz, is that episode the one when Homer goes and licks the toads? That one is funny, but it's a few seasons old methinks...
We're getting new ones as well- we had the Harpooned Heart one on most recently. I found that one sort of... disturbing. The bit with Flanders, anyway.

Yes it is the one where homer goes and licks the toads. I know its a few seasons old but we are a few seasons behind so its new to us.
I found it quite moving when he built the chapel after corrupting them. I meant the simpsons episode Koneko.
