Yeah, apparently talk of a Simpsons movie had been in the works for several years- Nancy Cartwright said that they were just having issues coming up with a way to transpose a 20-minute show into something oging for 180 minutes, but she also said that the whole cast and production team is really enthusiastic about doing a movie and stuff.

So, Karen and my brother are currently addicted to Simpson's "Road Rage" (the PS2) game. I can't stand it but, I don't like to play PS2 so, that is perhaps the reason. Has anyone else played it? What do you think of it? Do you want to go to the box factory?

*cracks up* The box factory?! They actually have that in the game? I haven't played it yet, but if they have the box factory... *grins*
I love that episode when they go on excursion to the box factory and then Bart sneaks off, and Homer thinks Bart got turned into a box and is kissing and hugging it and stuff...
Oh! There's another Simpsons game out as well... "hit and run" I think it is. It's pretty cool. The voices and the lines and stuff in it are really funny.

We have the new season of the Simpsons upon us! I've been waiting ages for these, so between these and the old eps they show on average about 2-3 simpsons episodes per weekday. ;D Some of the jokes are getting old though.

NEWS JUST IN... The cast of the Simpsons are going to be doing a LIVE READING sometime in July in California, where the Simpsons is made. Basically a live reading is where the voiceover cast stand on a stage with microphones and a copy of the script and do the voices without the animation and stuff, so you only get the voices (and sometimes sound effects) but not the pictures. It's really cool to see this done - sorry I don't have more information at the moment but I read it on the newspaper on the tram and didn't take the paper with me. D'oh!

Hmmm....I'm not a fan of the new simpsons...at all, Bring back classic episodes such as Hank scorpio, or Jay Sherman the critic (also a show on the comedy channel...gets an occaisional laugh) or better yet... the radioactive man movie...all of those episodes still manage to make me laugh after seeing them so many times...now that I think about it those few in between seasons were the funniest episodes ever......"welcome to itchy and scratchy land, where nothing can possiblo go wrong........possibly go wrong.....thats the first thing thats ever gone wrong" ohhhh mercy

Speaking of classic episodes, does the 25 greyhounds episode count? I love that one! You know, the one where Santa's little helper and his girlfriend have puppies and Mr Burns takes them and bursts into song with "See my vest". Heh. ;D

to finish the song off....
Mike Scioscia's tragic illness made us smile, While Wade Boggs lay unconscious on the barroom tile...
We're talkin' softball... From Maine to San Diego. Talkin' softball... Mattingly and Canseco. Ken Griffey's grotesquely swollen jaw. Steve Sax and his run-in with the law. We're talkin' Homer... Ozzie and the Straw.

-"hello principal skinner, hello super nintendo chalmers"
-"i ate all my caps.*POP* oof" Yeah Ralph is pretty funny Speaking of skinner and chalmers, the little episode in an episode where chalmers comes to skinners for dinner is probably one of the more hilarious moments of the simpsons with some hilarious quotes.
-"(chamlmers)seymour why is your kitchen glowing? (skinner)uhhh....aurora borealis... (chalmer)aurora borealis,at this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, located ENTIRELY within your kitchen? (skinner)...........yes (chalmers) May I see? (skinner)...no

Hahaha, yeah, that one was pretty good.
I have this one line stuck in my head because they just (re)showed it recently...
Lisa: But Mom, if you take our cartoons away, we'll grow up without a sense of humor and be robots. Bart: *intrigued* Really? What kind of robots?
I definitely laughed out loud at that one. ;D
