*grins* Oh yeah! The Elec-taurus! ;D I played that on PS2 one weekend. Krusty has the Klown Kar and Rev. Lovejoy drives the book-burning mobile... that's a pretty funny game, because they do all the voices and stuff, and at one point if you pick up Ralph, he says "the leprechauns tell me to burn things"! ;D

Ahhh, love Blinkie the three eyed fish. He's hilarious. They used to have a Simpsons video game AGES agon on SNES called "Bart's Nightmare". He had to do his homework and the papers blew out the window, and he had to go and collect them but everything was weird and dream-like. It was a pretty cool game, even if it was on a really old console.

I'm not sure how different the schedule is for everyone here...did you guys have the new Treehouse of Terror (the Halloween ones) episode last Sunday? And are you going to the season premiere this Sunday?
Well anyways, I saw the Halloween one (what part is it now? 13?), and it wasn't great at all. I don't like the Halloween ones anymore--they're just all gruesome and not very funny at all. The second more recent one (it includes the story of Dr. Hibbert and his island where he turns everyone into animals, as well as the story with Homer and his clones) is just sick. I would have to say my favourite Halloween Simpsons was HomerĀ³.

We didn't have the new halloween simspons we got repeats of halloween episodes of last year. I think we are about 4 series behind in the simpsons.
The treehouse of horror was the funniest halloween episode ;D

Horror! That's what it's called. Not terror. ...All the Halloween specials are called Treehouse of Horror, though. It's not just a single episode.
I guess the schedules are different everywhere, as usual. Well, the season premiere was, in my opinion, actually pretty good. (Much better than the new Halloween one, anyways) It was about Homer finding his mom again, and then she's finally caught by Burns (who's still peeved about the 60s incident with the germ lab), but Homer tries to break her out of jail. The ending was pretty cool (and they even stuck in A Beautiful Mind allusions, which was cool .

Oh! That one hasn't come out yet in Australia... we had the first one when her alias was Muddy Mae Suggins... but not the new one. I liked the one when Homer's mum came back the first time, especially at the end when Chief Wiggum tips them off and says "and she helped me rise through the ranks of the police force and become Chief Clancy Wi-" and then Homer hangs up on him.
Oh, new episode tomorrow- the what happened to Maggie one.

We still don't have any new episodes here. In the shops a few days ago they have released the same christmas video with a different cover I like the episodes with Homers Mum as well. Is there such as simpsons where homer becomes the president of new zeland? I guess schedules are different everywhere because of sky normal telly is about 4 series behind. I especially like the halloween one where maggie sprouts tentacles ;D and we find out that her father was kang.

I know everyone's schedules are different, but for me, yesterday was the Britain one! (I didn't think it was fantastic...just okay.) I think they've been talking about this episode for a while, so you might've already heard about it. The Simpsons go to Britain with the $3000 Bart earns from his "museum" so they take a vacation there. And when they get there, they meet Tony Blair in the airport(says Homer, "I can't believe we met Mr. Bean!" ;D), see that Judi Dench has a fast food restaurant, go to court with the Queen, and run into JK Rowling! It's her real voice, too! She was only "on screen" for about ten seconds, and Lisa pronounced her name wrong. Their conversation went something like this:
*Rowling is exiting a shop with a Harry Potter poster in the window* Lisa: Look! It's JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books! Ms. Rowling, can you tell me what happens at the end of the series?! Rowling: Harry Potter lives and marries you. Is that what you wanted to hear? Lisa: *goes dreamy-eyed* Yes.

*grins* I like when they have cameos in the Simpsons. I remember the one they had with Amy Tan (of Joy Luck Club fame) and she was really rude to Lisa.
Hey, how did Lisa pronounce JK's name then?

I know what episode you're talking about (I think it was on over here a week or two ago), but I wasn't sure if that was Amy Tan's real voice. I know sometimes they just use fake imitations, like with Christopher Walken.
Heh she pronounced it the way a lot of people do: RAWLing. It's actually supposed to be pronounced ROLLing, like a rolling pin. Her words, not mine. I read it in an old interview with her.

Ahhh, right. Hmm, about Amy Tan, I'm not sure if it actually was her, but oh! Another cameo one they've had is Britney Spears.
That was a funny episode, she was only in it for like 10 seconds when they're announcing something. I think it went like this:
Kent Brockman says "And here's Britney Spears!"
*people cheer*
Kent: "And I'm here, I'm Kent Brockman!"
*silence*
Kent: "WITH Britney Spears!!"
*sound of cheering*

Is annoyed because she missed that edition of the simpsons. Was it only on sky or normal telly?
I like the cameos in the simpsons as well. In fact there have only been a few episodes i don't like.
I wouldn't think that the character of Lisa would say that though? I mean she has never said anything like that before.
The kent brochman joke is a running one all through the series. I didn't get to see the Briteny spears one either.
